Conceal Carry Course for Sacramento, Placer, and Yolo County
(Before signing up for this class, you must have started your application process with the Sheriff. If not, you will need to qualify again for the renewal price).
The Conceal Carry Weapons Permit will be held over a two day period. This is NOT a teaching how to shoot course. This consists of the classroom and at the shooting range. Students will learn about firearm safety, ammunition selection and malfunctions, the safe storage and legal transportation of firearms, State and Federal laws regrading Concealed Carry and permissible use of force, firearm selection, the defensive mindset, and more.
Upon meeting the necessary standards set by Deadeye Dames and the State of California, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Qualification to meet the requirements of the Sheriff’s Office.
May 18th and 19th is the next class
This course is 16 hours, costs $250.00 and includes three firearms. The range fee is $20.00 payable the day of class.
Sacramento, Placer, & Yolo County Renewal
Need to renew your training qualifications? This course is the new 8 hour length. This includes State and Federal Laws pertaining to Concealed Carry and permissible use of force. Upon successful completion, you will receive your certificate for the Sheriff’s department. The fee is $175.00 (includes three firearms maximum of three). The Range Fee is $20.00 and is payable day of class.

USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This course is intuitive, reality-based, & efficient. It comes with a book and is for those who have previously shot, and want a better understanding of Defensive Shooting Fundamentals. It’s for women and men of various ages & skill levels or perhaps someone who wants a primer course prior to getting their CCW. So if you have or have not shot in a while, join us. At the end of the day, you will be prepared mentally and physically to apply the knowledge and shoot defensively in a critical situation. Utah Non-Resident Conceal Carry Permit
Concealed carry enthusiasts know that the Utah non-resident concealed firearm permit is the permit to have. If you travel for business or pleasure, now you can continue to maintain your personal safety in more states across the country. To obtain this important permit, a student must complete an approved course of instruction taught by a Utah state-certified instructor.
This is a 4-hour class (classroom lecture only), and includes the class, fingerprint card, passport photo, and everything needed to apply for the permit. The fee for the permit itself is $63.25, payable to Utah BCI.
Utah does not require any live fire or range qualification to obtain its permit. The Utah non-resident concealed firearm permit is the most widely accepted non-resident permit in the United States. This class follows the training outline mandated by the State of Utah, Bureau of Criminal Identification, and covers many different aspects of firearm safety and ownership.
Upon completion of the class, you will be submitting to Utah:
Completed application signed by the instructor, fingerprint card (included with class fee), two passport-style photos (not included), copy of your driver’s license and carry permit, along with the $63.25 fee payable to UTAH BCI.

Basics of Pistol Shooting
So you want to learn how to shoot? Wonderful! You have come to the right place! This course will be held in one day for approximately 6 to 8 hours. You will learn the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a revolver and semi-automatic pistol safely. Safety comes first, and we stress that throughout the day. You will learn how to identify parts of a pistol and action types and will be able to demonstrate how to handle a pistol safely. You will also learn about the five components of a pistol cartridge and the firing sequence. We will talk about the factors in determining purchasing a handgun and storage. You will also learn about malfunctions and how to clear them. Shooting is not just about aiming and pulling the trigger. We will teach you the five fundamentals of marksmanship. This class includes classroom time and range time. Handguns are provided if you need one. You must register at least one week before the class. The fee is $150.00 plus the $20.00 range fee. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay. More information will be emailed to you once you register.
